Summer Camp 2010

For the past few months, we as the Open Arms team have been planning, working and getting ready for summer camp 2010! We’ve put together an amazing American team and an awesome Ukrainian team and have been getting everything ready for our camo-infused theme of “Courage in the Line of Duty” based on the theme verse of Joshua 1:9. We have been so excited for what God is going to do this year in the hearts of the children of Pravdinsky. But right now we’ve hit a road block. In order to run our camp at the orphanage, we need to receive official permission from a department in Sumy. Last year we had no problems getting this permission but as of right now, this department is telling us that we may not get it. Currently we’re translating lots of paperwork and information about our camp program and our ministry to bring back in by the end of this week to try to persuade them to allow us to have camp.

Please, please join us in praying that we will receive the necessary permission for camp this year! Check the Open Arms Facebook for updates as we have them. Thanks for your prayers!
